Frequently asked questions
Pricing, hosting, modules, aggregators, and onboarding — answered plainly.
How does RestauOS pricing work?
Plans are priced by country and billed monthly or annually. Advanced is our recommended commercial plan. Enterprise and Custom are quoted based on outlets, connectors, and deployment model.
Is there an annual discount?
Yes. Annual billing typically reflects roughly two months free compared with month-to-month pricing. Exact figures appear on the pricing page for your selected country.
Can I start with a trial?
Yes. We can provision a time-boxed trial with agreed limits. Trials convert to paid plans without reinstalling your restaurant database.
What is the difference between Cloud and On-Premise?
RestauOS Cloud is hosted and operated by RestauOS. On-Premise runs in your infrastructure. Private Cloud is a dedicated environment for groups that need isolation with managed operations.
Does RestauOS work if the internet drops?
POS and kitchen operations are designed to keep selling during connectivity issues. Licensing heartbeats are periodic and never block order taking.
What is included in KOT vs KDS?
KOT prints or routes kitchen tickets when items are sent. KDS shows live tickets on kitchen screens with status tracking for prep and readiness.
How do aggregator connectors work?
Aggregator Manager brings Talabat, Snoonu, Rafeeq, Keeta, and similar channels into one operational flow so delivery orders land beside dine-in and takeaway.
Do you support multi-branch restaurants?
Multi-branch, central menu, and group reporting are part of Enterprise. Advanced supports limited multi-outlet setups within plan limits.
How does onboarding work?
We map your outlets, menu, printers, kitchens, and staff roles, then go live with training. Implementation can be purchased as an add-on or bundled in Enterprise.
Who owns backups?
On RestauOS Cloud, backups are part of the managed service. On-Premise and Private Cloud backup responsibility is defined in your deployment agreement.
Can I renew or extend manually?
Yes. Our control team can activate, renew, extend, suspend, or resume subscriptions and record payment references for offline settlements.
How long does go-live take?
A single outlet often launches within days once menus and hardware are ready. Multi-branch rollouts are phased by outlet and kitchen readiness.
